The Research, Surveillance and Investigations Office serves to protect Rapisardi’s Clients by providing them with the information and data necessary for the management and protection of their IP assets.

Also, Research enables one to obtain the information required to understand the Client’s assets and prepare an analysis, on the basis of which an action plan can be devised.

Prior Art Searches, the first step to take before filing a trademark or patent application, is one of the office’s strengths. Moreover, continued analysis and research in relation to an IP package enables clients’ assets to be constantly monitored and protected, preserving their value by combatting illegal abuse and registrations and adopting the appropriate legal and administrative measures to protect the assets in question. 

In particular:

• prior art searches by owner, class of goods, domain name, etc. in respect of trademarks, patents, models, copyright and domain names all over the world;
• corporate research (business relations, name, company searches, etc.);
• checks and surveillance in respect of trademarks, patents, models, copyright and domain names all over the world.
